Rules for Visiting Slaves
Rules for Staff [Ops]
Rules for channel slaves
Rules governing the purchase of channel slaves

  1. tLi is (as much as possible) a true Gorean channel. No elves, vampires, or football-scores in channel. It's also MY channel and I, Oryx, run tLi as I see fit. If you don't like the way We treat slaves/FW/Urts, whatever, that's not Our problem, it's yours. The door is that ---> way.

  2. We believe that Gor is to be FUN.

  3. That's F. U. N., for those who don't read. FUN means NEVER taking ourselves too seriously, and not getting hung up on THE TRUE GOREAN WAY. Accuracy is encouraged: for instance, lumpy paga in a footed bowl poured from a bota served to an Ubar of Port Kar. None of these EVER existed in the scrolls.

  4. Scening is allowed in tLi. If you are asked by an Op to take a scene to alcove, it is because s/he is aware that another visitor might be offended by more blantant displays. That said, it's Gor. We expect to see slutty serves and use of heat, etc.

On the flip side, you expect to see a lot of affection shown in our channels. For some reason, most "Goreans" seem to think Free Person should just smile sweetly at one another from across the room. (G-d knows how anyone has any children that way!) We actively encourage any and all displays of caring and love. Life's too short, folks!

  5. Besides being a fine channel, serving the best of Gorean (and other) foods and potables... tLi is a shelter

  6. And, now We're being completely serious. Besides Gor being less fun lately, it's also tending to be dangerous. Girls are being stalked and put upon, FW too. Other channels might teach "Gor"; we give slaves, FW, everybody, a place in which they can relax that's comfortable and non-threatening. We do NOT, however, coddle subbie brats or HNG wannabes of either sex. These WILL be politely but firmly escorted out.

  7. We welcome slaves of any persuasion to tLi. Here you WILL find kajiri as well as kajirae. We will not tolerate any attempt -- blatant, veiled, obtuse, or otherwise -- to make anyone feel their lifestyle choices are wrong. Bear in mind, those in the 'vanilla' world probably think YOU'RE a nut for talking about holding ideals from an obscure series of science fiction novels. Afford everyone the courtesy of being allowed to live their convictions. Harrassment of any slave will result in your being asked to leave.

  8. Your own chain is your own responsibility. We do not believe in punishing another's slave. We do, however, expect that they will act in accordance with the slave rules posted to this site and not like spoiled brats. Failure to do so will earn them the boot. 'Nuff said.

  9. We do not automatically voice slaves in our channels. Voiced slaves (those with +) may be assumed to be associated with the tLi in some ongoing way and will generally be good ones to ask if you have questions.

  10. Review the list of collars if you are unclear on what a silk color means. Any attempt on the part of ANY FP to countermand the owners' wishes regarding white or yellow silks will be handled with deadly swiftness.

  11. Should a channel slave catch your fancy, first review the rules for the purchase of channel slaves . We consider it absolutely verboten for a FP to discuss a collar with one of Our slaves without first advising him/herself of the 'rules'. You have been warned.

  12. The rules of the Council of Lara are strictly enforced by the Owner of tLi. To that end, slaves that are determined to be deserted by their owners (21 days on the Earthen calendar) may have their collar removed. You may be sure that we are diligent in our research and will perform no such act unless strong proof is presented. Logs are kept of all such actions.
We do hope you enjoy your visit with us and will return many times. Safe journeys!
